The Year of Gracie: It's Christmas time in the city

Happy holiday's everyone!!! The Christmas cards are starting to arrive and the decorations are out! It has been a crazy last month here! During Thanksgiving, I got to see a whole bunch of family! Grandma came into town, along with Uncle Andy and his family. It took me a while to warm up to having lots of people around the house, but I think I eventually came around. Mom and Em were not very impressed by my behavior towards all the people in the house, so they knew they wanted to do something about that.....I'll write more about that in a sec! But after Thanksgiving, it was nice to have the house back to normal and not have tons of people coming in and out! So, we all know about my lovely chewing habits and how I can't keep a toy longer than usually 48 hours! Well, Nick has found me the solution! Drum roll please.......DEER ANTLER! Who would of thought?! Nick got it from a friend at work and he made it all smooth and then of course boiled it so it was sterile. After all of that, I have a new toy!!!! So far, I haven't been able to destroy it, and I am going on 5 days!! That's impressive! I love carrying it around with me too! It makes a lot of noise when I drop it and I always startle mom haha! :) Ok, so back to my behavior issues....so, mom and Em have really missed (ok ok ok, I really missed) puppy play ever since it has ended and ever since I have gotten spayed, I have been a little more territorial. So, Em found a place right down the road that holds a "Dogs Night Out" every Monday! Last Monday was my first time there and I was a little scardie cat (eww did I just call myself a cat?!) well, I was! I hid underneath Em's chair almost the whole time! But this week, I did much better! I actually wanted to socialize! I still got a little scared at times, but it was a HUGE improvement over the week before! I am hoping next week is even better!!
