The next Airbud??

These last couple of days have been long hot ones! The heat defiantly makes me sleepy!! On Tuesday I went to my second puppy play time! I REALLY had a great time!!! I made even more friends this time than last time! My new friend is Cash, he is a boxer and we have a GREAT time!! He is bigger, so I don't have to be as careful as I did when I play with the smaller puppies! Stephanie, the dog trainer, was really impressed with how well I was playing!! Besides puppy play time, I have been practicing my training a lot! I am really good at sitting and I am working on the "come" command, I'll do anything for a treat!! :) I am also getting to be a pro at doing the stairs that lead upstairs! I can officially go upstairs now without any help! I think my family is soon going to regret teaching me that..... :) Yesterday it was so hot outside I didn't want to do anything! It was close to 102 degrees here, and the air conditioned house was WAYYY better than being outside! Luckily after Nick got home from work, we all went for a swim! I have become such a master in the pool, that it's just so much fun to go in now!! After I was done swimming, I was ready to play! I found a basketball and went to town! I think I might have a shot at going pro! ;) HA! I loved chasing the ball all over the deck! I slid under the chairs and chased it all over, I was really having a ball (no pun intended!).

Vet trips and puppy naps these are just a few of my favorite things

I can't believe I still have stuff to write about these days! I had a very eventful day for such a little puppy! Wait...who are we calling little puppy?! I am a GROWING puppy!! I have become very accustom to eating both the other dogs food and my own. My family is starting to crack down on me a little more and keep me from eating everyone else's food! Darn!! I went for my first little jog today. Em took me for a walk and tried to get me to jog a little.....I wasn't too sure about it at first, it was a little scary for me. Eventually, I got the hang of it towards the end! I just am starting to master this walking thing, so I hope running won't take me too long to master! These days, my toy box just keeps growing and growing! I am one spoiled little puppy!! Everyone laughs at me because unlike most dogs, I play with every single toy in my box! Today was also my two week check up with Dr. Rick. I was pretty excited on the car ride down to go there. I love standing in-between the driver and passenger seat. I weighed in at 23.2 pounds, which is almost two and half pounds since the last time I was there! Everyone was so impressed with how calm I was there! What can I say....I am just that type of dog :) The ride home did tucker me out though! I slept the whole way!!

Who's that growing puppy?

Oh that's just me! My family has been seeing HUGE changes in me this last week. I have gotten so much bigger already! I am now tipping the scales at a solid 24.5 pounds. I'm sure when I go to the vet tomorrow, I'll be even heavier! I have also gotten a lot taller! I am not the little fat puppy anymore! I still love to be carried around as much as often, but my family is slowly stopping carrying me around since I am getting so heavy! I am still working on chewing on things I am allowed to chew on, I really do love chewing on my daddy's shoes! Sometimes when I know I'm being bad I take on of my toys with me and chew on Nick's shoes behind one of my toys. I thought I was being pretty clever! Too bad I got caught! I went on my second walk the other day which was so much better than my first! I am still scared of the cars on the road and have to be carried across, but other than that, I am doing a great job learning how to be a good walker! I have also been spending a lot of time in the pool! I am becoming an expert swimmer in the pool. I still just love to be held in the pool close to someone, but a lot of time time I am being forced to swim! I'm sure when I am big I won't mind!

Whew! Being a puppy is sooo exhausting! 

It's dog gone hot out here!

Boy oh boy is it hot out here!! Today was the perfect day to lay around all day in the air conditioning, but that wasn't an option today! Mommy and Em took me on a field trip to Petco today where I got a new toy :) Bandit even got a new name tag too. I loved riding in the cart at Petco....made me feel like a princess. When we got home, I got to go swimming again too! I am getting really good at swimming in the pool! I was spoiled and got to sit on one of the rafts in the pool too.....and guess what.... I LOVED IT! I was such a good girl, I just laid there like it was no big deal. I am still working on my manners this week. I really like eating everyone's food but my own....none of the other dogs like that one so much. No worries though, I'll eventually get it right :)

What an exciting day!! I have been going NON-STOP today!! This morning I played almost ALL morning!! I chewed on almost everything in the house.....literally! I even started chewing on Nick's shoes.....oops..... Luckily, my family is really nice and told me not to do it again. I'll do my best! Tonight was a big night for me, I got to go to my very first puppy play time!! I got to meet lots of new friends. My favorite friend was Oscar. At first, I was a little shy, but once I saw that we were all there to play, I wasn't so shy anymore! My favorite part about puppy play time was the treats that our trainer Stephanie gave us! YUMM! Since I had such a great time there, I am going to go every week till I'm not a puppy anymore :) YAY!
