On the twelfth day of Christmas....

Oh I've been a bad little puppy! I haven't updated in a couple days!!! Better late than never I guess!! I left you all with just eleven days! Who would have know what gifts I got?! Well, what other best way to end the twelve days of Christmas with a huge hug!! My final "present" was a nice big bear hug! My favorite!!!!

On the tenth and eleventh days of Christmas......

My owners bought for me...... A new red bone and a special Christmas tennis ball! I love both of these toys a lot!
I am really going to miss when the new presents stop :( but, I can't wait to see what my next gift is.... Em tells me it's really special!

On the ninth day of Christmas.....

My owners gave to me..... A new stuffed reindeer!
I really love the new reindeer that I got today!! He is super cute :) I am getting really used to getting a toy everyday, I'm not sure I'll like it when I stop getting one!!

On the eighth day of Christmas.....

My owners bought for me..... A brand new Scooby Do collar!
I look so pretty now with my new collar! It's very fitting for me too because, Nick and Em are always telling me I act and look like Scooby!

On the seventh day of Christmas.....

My owners bought for me.... A new rope pull toy! These are my favorite types of toys! I am really living all the toys that everyone has bought me :) I'm so spoiled, wait.... Did I just admit to being spoiled?
Christmas is quickly approaching and soon the house will be full again! Hopefully the toys keep coming!!

On the sixth day of Christmas....

My owners bought for me.... A new shiny chew ring!
So far, I haven't destroyed this ring or my penguin I got yesterday!! I really like these two new toys that I got! The ring is nice and easy to carry around.

On the fourth day of Christmas......

My owners got for me..... A beautiful new red squeak toy!
Unfortunately, the toy didn't last me too long, pretty much two minutes after Em gave it to me, I destroyed it :( silly me! Hopefully I keep getting more toys and hopefully they are a little more indestructible!!! Hint hint wink wink Em!!!

On the third day of Christmas......

My owners bought for me.... A new duck toy!!
He is very cute!! I love him a lot. He has a water bottle that crinkles inside, which annoys everyone in the house, but I like him a lot! It was a nice surprise since I am so low on toys these days!
Can't wait to see what else is coming, the presents are getting pretty good :)

On the second day of Christmas.....

My owners got for me...... Some yummy new treats!!
Today for my present, I got some delicious pigs in a blanket doggy treats! I've seen Em eat the people version of these before, but I think they are much yummier in the doggy form!! I only go to have a couple of them though, because mom and Em didn't want me to get sick from too many! They told me I could have more later :)
Only 11 more days til Christmas!! Can't wait :)

On the first day of Christmas.......

My owners got for me...... A brand new toy!
Today I got my very first 12 days of Christmas toy! I got a ball of knots basically. It is called a monkey fist and its a little difficult to carry in my mouth, but I really like it! It's a good thing I got a new toy too, I've been chewing and destroying all my other toys!
I can't wait for tomorrow's treat! Check back and see what I got!!

It's Christmas time in the city

Happy holiday's everyone!!! The Christmas cards are starting to arrive and the decorations are out! It has been a crazy last month here! During Thanksgiving, I got to see a whole bunch of family! Grandma came into town, along with Uncle Andy and his family. It took me a while to warm up to having lots of people around the house, but I think I eventually came around. Mom and Em were not very impressed by my behavior towards all the people in the house, so they knew they wanted to do something about that.....I'll write more about that in a sec! But after Thanksgiving, it was nice to have the house back to normal and not have tons of people coming in and out! So, we all know about my lovely chewing habits and how I can't keep a toy longer than usually 48 hours! Well, Nick has found me the solution! Drum roll please.......DEER ANTLER! Who would of thought?! Nick got it from a friend at work and he made it all smooth and then of course boiled it so it was sterile. After all of that, I have a new toy!!!! So far, I haven't been able to destroy it, and I am going on 5 days!! That's impressive! I love carrying it around with me too! It makes a lot of noise when I drop it and I always startle mom haha! :) Ok, so back to my behavior issues....so, mom and Em have really missed (ok ok ok, I really missed) puppy play ever since it has ended and ever since I have gotten spayed, I have been a little more territorial. So, Em found a place right down the road that holds a "Dogs Night Out" every Monday! Last Monday was my first time there and I was a little scardie cat (eww did I just call myself a cat?!) well, I was! I hid underneath Em's chair almost the whole time! But this week, I did much better! I actually wanted to socialize! I still got a little scared at times, but it was a HUGE improvement over the week before! I am hoping next week is even better!!

Stay tuned for the "12 days of Christmas" Em is going try to do with me! She told me to fair warn you that it might not get updated everyday and some post may be multiple days, but she will try to do her best! The first one will be on December 12th!

Trick-or-Treat

I promise I haven't gone anywhere, I'm still here!! This last month has been a whirlwind of activities for me! I have been so busy lately, I kind of forgot about the blog! October started with beautiful colors of fall and let me tell you, I love ALL the leaves that keep falling!! YUMMY! Leaves are by far one of my favorite things to eat these days! Nick always tells me I am like a goat because of all the leaves and sticks I find outside! By the middle of October, I got to meet a new friend! Grandma Elaine and Grandpa George became the proud parents to a brand new puppy! Her names is Sunny and boy oh boy is she little!! My nose is as big as her head!! I wasn't allowed to play with Sunny for a couple weeks until she got a little bit bigger now, but now that she has grown a little, we can play while supervised! I'm still learning my size too, so sometimes I forget how big I am!! Luckily I have Em and mom here to help remind me when I get a little rough!! This last month and a half I have also gone through about a handful of new toys! Mom and Nick even bought me a toy that had (notice HAD) 7 layers of stuffing to make it extra tough, but that posed no challenge for me! I made sure I took out all 7 layers of the toy and spread it throughout the living room to show everyone that I need tougher toys than that!! It became very clear this month that I REALLY love the car! I mean we already knew that I loved to ride in the car, but I have started to help myself to going everywhere with the family. I make sure I squeeze through everyone to get to the door so I can make sure I am getting to go with!! I've been pretty much everywhere these days :) I sure do love going with everyone! I discovered this month that one of my FAVORITE treats include popsicles! Mmmm! Talking about food, that leads me to Halloween!! Em was really excited to dress me up this year and thought long and hard about what I should dress up as! Finally she came up with the perfect costume.....A HOTDOG! Ugh. Would you want to be dressed up as a hotdog? I didn't think so. I was super embarrassed to wear the costume around! Luckily Em only made me where it long enough to get a couple of photos! I can't believe I am letting her post them on here. I'm looking forward to spending the holidays with family and getting to hang out with the family as the weather starts to change.
