There's a little bit of devil in her angle eyes

Not only is my blog title a cute lyric from a country song, it's so true! I have been so busy growing and chewing on everything that I haven't had much time to blog lately! One of my favorite things to chew on lately, is shoes! Mmmm shoes! My mommy has been the real only victim lately with the shoe chewing.....what can I say, her's are the yummiest!!! I have been so busy playing in the pool and practicing my swimming too! I am getting to be the best swimmer in the house!! (Ok maybe not, Nick and Em both swam in high school....but I'm close!) I got my second bath since being home the other day! I have officially out grown the utility sink! Luckily I have a kiddie pool that did the trick! :) I also got a new collar this last month! My old one was getting to be a little small (since I am growing so fast!) and was beginning to get kind of smelly!! My new collar brings out my eyes Em tells me :) That must be a good thing!! Nick's brother got a new house last month and I got to visit for the first time this week! Talk about loads of space!! I had such a great time! I met a new friend their too! Her name is Rosey and she is a boxer! We played so long and hard, that I slept the ENTIRE way home! I went to another vet visit yesterday too! I am weighing in at almost 36 pounds :) Everyone keeps telling me I feel heavier! All I know is, that I must not be too heavy, because everyone still loves to snuggle!!

I'm exhausted!! Sleep well everyone!

Growing Up Quick

Boy is that true! I have been so busy growing up these last couple of days that I am so exhausted! These days I am topping the scales off at 34 pounds! WOO HOO! I officially weigh half the amount of Bandit (who is a 10 years old black lab!)!! That's saying something! I'm not just growing on the outside, I'm growing inside too! I've got some of my back molars coming in now! Makes me want to chew on EVERYTHING I can get my hands on now! Sometimes Mommy and Daddy don't really like that.....like when I chew the pillow...or shoes! I am still practicing my swimming lots which is always a fun treat! With all this heat though, I have been looking for some other ways to stay cool! Luckily I have found the sprinkler in the yard to do the trick, sometimes it scares me though! One of my favorite treats on these long hot days is a frozen peanut butter kong! Mommy and Daddy like giving it to me because it keeps me from chewing on anything else! It makes for a much happier house :) Speaking of a happier house, Bandit and I are getting along MUCH better these days! We have started sharing chairs to sit on and sometimes even food. She has become much more accepting of me these last couple of days! Thank God!!

It's 102 degrees out here and it's dog gone hot!

WHEW! Hope everyone is staying cool in this heat!! I know I hate being outside right now! Lucky for me, I have a home that is nice and air conditioned!! Yesterday I got to play in the pool with everyone and boy was it fun! I am becoming such a pro inside the pool that I don't even need anyone's help to swim anymore! I love being in the pool with Nick since he hold me nice and tight :) No one else wants to hold me anymore since I am now 30 pound! Yikes where did that weight come from?? I see my good friend Dr. Rick tomorrow for another round of shots and to get another once over! He is going to be so impressed with how much I have grown in the last two weeks and how much I continue to grow!!

Stay cool today and get out of that heat!

That's for sure! I have been so busy these last couple of days that I haven't gotten a chance to write about my adventures!! I haven't really been liking the heat that we have been experiencing, because it makes me so sleepy! Luckily everyone likes to take me swimming to cool off which is always a nice treat! I still always run for the ladder when I am in there, but hopefully soon I start to just swim around :) On Tuesday I went to puppy play time again and had a blast!! There were quite a few puppies this time which was a lot more fun! My buddy Cash, who is a boxer, was there, and him and I have so much fun together! Last week, I was still smaller that Cash, but this week I was bigger than him! Everyone keeps telling me I am going like a weed! I got weighed earlier this week and toped the scales at 26.2 pounds!! Tuesday was also the fireworks here where I live! I don't like loud noises to begin with, so my family put me in the basement with Bandit. I was even lucky enough to have my friend Sligo come and play with me! Sligo even got to spend the night! I always enjoy when he is here!! :)
